Glossary
Bauxite: An aluminium ore and is the main source of aluminium.
Iron Oxide: Chemical compounds composed of iron and oxygen.
Aluminium Oxide: Chemical compound of aluminium and oxygen with the chemical formal Al2O3.
Pure Aluminium: A chemical element. Silvery white, soft, ductile metal.
Titania: The natural occurring oxide of titanium, chemical formula TiO2.
Silicia: A chemical compound that is an oxide of silicon with the chemical formula SiO2.
Tin Foil: A thin foil made of tin.
Aluminium Foil: A thin sheet of aluminium.
Non-toxicity: Not toxic; not containing to caused by a toxin or poison.
Extract: To draw or pull out, often with great force or effort.
Durability: The ability to endure.
Corrosion: The gradual destruction of materials (usually metals), by chemical reaction with its environment.
Smelted: A form of extractive metallurgy; it's main use is to produce a metal from it's ore.
Impermeability: Impossible to permeate.
Water: A colourless, transparent liquid that forms the seas, lakes, rivers and rain.
